The Metropolitan Center congratulates the following staff members who participated in the May 14th 2008 commencement celebration.

Among the 10 staff members who were awarded degrees, two were long term employees: Administrative Assistants and Jason Durham and Marian Mensah.
Mr. Durham, a graduate of the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies received his B.S in Information Systems Management with a concentration on Network Management and Security. He shared with his coworkers that he is currently deciding on whether to pursue further education in the fall; among options, he is considering pursuing a career in Education Technology. He cited the SCPS website as a marker of his degree;” cutting-edge education in the new and dynamic fields of media and Internet Technologies….”
Marian Mensah received a BA in Social Science-Economics from the McGhee School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Mrs. Mensah, earlier received her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Accounting and Business from NYU. A former graduate from Seattle Central Community College in Seattle, Washington, Mrs. Mensah worked for AT&T Ltd. in Accra, Ghana.
