The Executive Council of the Metropolitan Center for Urban Education, initiated by Dr Pedro Noguera, executive director, is comprised of distinguished leaders, with a myriad of disciplines from outstanding organizations. The Council, through their diverse accomplishments and reputations will assist in piloting the future growth and development of the Center. Dr. Noguera will look to the Council as a "brain trust," to ensure that the programs and efforts of the Center continue to address the needs of urban schools and public education, in general.
