With an alumni network 3000 people strong, our graduates have a huge resource -- each other. Many hold positions as executives in broadcasting, corporate communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, publishing, operations management, quality management, sales, and human resources development. Others are faculty at leading universities, consulting and conducting research for the public and private sectors. All are a part of the legacy of New York University, the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, and the Department of Media, Culture, and Communication.

A Note from our Chair
WELCOME BACK
Whether you've been away from us for a couple of months, a few years, or longer, we'd like to welcome you back and renew our connection.
What began many years ago as a small Ph.D. program in Media Ecology has become one of the largest full-service academic departments at New York University. And while some of our alumni have reached the pinnacle of their craft or profession, many are just beginning their careers.
This site is for you. To share news and stories about your accomplishments; to share ideas about your professional aspirations and professions; to reminisce; to reinvigorate your scholarly inclinations; to influence the next generation of NYU grads.
I hope we hear from you and I hope we see you at department events.
Most of all, I hope you are doing well.
