Bring your love of the arts to leadership positions with arts institutions -- both non-profit and for-profit. NYU Steinhardt's unique M.A. program in Visual Arts Administration prepares students for dynamic careers in the commercial and non-profit art sectors.

Study with peers from around the world and with business faculty and top arts professionals who bring their marketing, finance, management, legal, and fundraising expertise directly into the classroom. Focus on traditional methods of presentation and audience development as well as new media and technology. 

Engage in practical learning through internships around the city -- from the Metropolitan Museum of Art to the Pace-Wildenstein Gallery -- and take advantage of a wealth of career networking opportunities. Participate in networking events and special guest lectures by prominent arts leaders offered in collaboration with NYU Steinhardt's graduate programs in Music Business and Performing Arts Administration.

Deepen your understanding of global trends and practices in performing and visual arts management through our summer study abroad programs in London and in the Netherlands/Berlin.
