You should not use the NYU Steinhardt logo graphic, or try to recreate the logo with font colors, in your email signature. The wide variety of e-mail clients (Outlook, Gmail, NYUHome, etc.) do not consistently render fonts the same way. Often, what looks good in one program will appear garbled or distorted in another. In general, your best bet is to use plain text for regular e-mail correspondence. Any HTML e-mails should be approved by the web designer.
