International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate our global diversity through international education, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding.
It began in 2000 as a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education "to promote programs that prepare Americans for global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States."
On behalf of the International Education Forum in the International Education Program in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at NYU, we encourage you to take part in the events at NYU. Let's all join and participate in the various activities to support cross-cultural understanding as it encourages greater dialogue, peace and prosperity.
