Latino Tobacco Conference & Student Fellowships

The "First National Hispanic/Latino Conference on Tobacco Prevention and Control" taking place in Washington, DC during Sept. 27-28, 2001. It is being sponsored by the National Latino Council on Alcohol and Tobacco Prevention (LCAT).   The conference is aimed specifically for Latinos, those working with this particular population, or those with an interest in this field.  Fellowships are also available for Latino students. Throughout the year, participants must implement 2 tobacco control or prevention activities in their local community and sit in on quarterly conference calls.
