AAHE SCHOLARSHIPS

AAHE SCHOLARSHIP -UNDERGRADUATE

The American Association for Health Education (AAHE) annually awards a scholarship of $1,000.  The award goes to an undergraduate level student in Health Education.

BARBARA A. COOLEY SCHOLARSHIP-MASTERS

The Barbara A. Cooley Scholarship annually awards a scholarship of
$1,000.  The award goes to a Master's level candidate in Health Education.

THE DELBERT OBERTEUFFER SCHOLARSHIP-DOCTORAL

The award will be $1,500.  It will include a $1,000 scholarship which may
be used at the discretion of the recipient.  The second component of the
award is a $500 professional development stipend to be awarded at an annual meeting of AAHE and to be applied to the cost of attending the annual convention.

MARION B. POLLOCK FELLOWSHIP-MASTERS

The award will be a $5,000 fellowship for a student enrolled in a masters
degree program in health education.  The award will include $500 for
professional develop to be awarded at an annual meeting of AAHE and to be applied to the cost of attending the annual convention.  The recipient may
spend remaining $4,500 of the award in any manner they desire.  The
fellowship recipient will be recognized at the annual Awards Luncheon at
the AAHE/AAHPERD convention.  Recipients will also receive a one-year
complimentary student membership in AAHE.

Application materials must be postmarked December 1.  For a copy of any of the applications contact:  AAHE, 1900 Association Drive, Reston,
VA  20191-1599.  Be sure to specify for which scholarship you wish an
application.  The guidelines may also be obtained on the AAHE website at
