WHAT'S NEW!!

The Call for Proposals for National School Boards Association (NSBA)'s
2002 annual conference in New Orleans (April 6-9) has been posted on the NSBA Web site: http://www.nsba.org/conference/proposals/rfp02_home.cfm

The deadline for submissions online is June 8th.

We've just completed this year's conference, which brought more than 18,000 school policymakers, administrators, and others involved in public education to San Diego.   You can read all about this year's conference in the conference editions of School Board News, which can be found on the Internet at http://www.nsba.org/conference/daily

Especially look for the Monday, March 26, issue, which contains an article about school food safety and the presentation made by David DeLozier of DASH and others expert in the field of school food safety.

Here's your opportunity to help school board members understand the
importance of addressing health issues through schools.  Let me know if you
want to discuss ideas or if you have any questions about the process.
