Funding opportunity for Florida programs

 

Keep Kids Drug Free Foundation to Award $25,000 in Grants to Florida Nonprofits

  Deadline: February 1, 2001

The Keep Kids Drug Free Foundation http://www.kkdf.com/ is accepting proposals for prevention projects aimed at keeping Florida's youth away from alcohol, tobacco, and drugs. Grants will be awarded under the foundation's "Prevention Is the Key" initiative. The initiative is aimed at fostering the elements required to develop a multi-level state-wide approach to prevention. Only Florida organizations with 501(c)(3) status are eligible to apply. However, non-501(c)(3) groups may partner with a certified organization to meet this requirement.

Up to $25,000 in funds will be distributed to grant recipients, with a maximum grant amount of $5,000. Applications available online.
