Planning for success in health promotion requires the alignment of health practitioners to effectively manage evolving environments. In anticipation of emerging public health issues in all their complexities, professionals must develop and sustain strategic alliances; utilize practical tools; apply new technology; promote policy; and assure accountability.

Supporting organizations include the: Alabama Public Health Association, Public Health Education and Health Promotion Section of the American Public Health Association, Arthritis Foundation, Georgia Public Health Association/Health Education and Health Promotion Section, Florida Public Health Association, and Kentucky Public Health Association.
