The Steinhardt Graduate Student Organization is looking for you to become a part of the 2008-2009 Executive Board. Come be a part of building the Steinhardt graduate community. You can help to plan events, socials, and distribute money for other Steinhardt students to participate in conferences and other professional development opportunities. You can also be involved in helping to bring about positive changes to both NYU and Steinhardt by communicating and interacting with department chairs, deans, the NYU administration. Come be a part of the Steinhardt leadership!
Event Coordinator:
- Attends weekly meetings
- Organizes, promotes, advertises and executes all events sponsored by the GSO
- Works with department chairs on programming ideas
- Elicits ideas for events from the student body
- May attend school standing committee meetings, or represent GSO at other events/meetings
Treasurer:
- Attends weekly meetings
- Plans the budget for the year
- Tracks and updates the Board on the budget
- Works with department representatives, executive board members and competitive grant winners on fund reimbursement
- Meets with the Board on additional funding requests
- May attend school standing committee meetings, or represent GSO at other events/meetings
