My name is Yvonne Feiger. I am an international student from Austria who joined the NYU community in Fall 2010. During my studies at the University of Vienna I was involved in a variety of student matters and would like to advance this interest while studying at New York University. I will effectively support the efforts of GSO through my former position at the National Union of Students in Austria and my work experience in journalism, communications, event planning, and content development. In my role as University Senator I want to promote a deeper engagement of the student body in topics concerning civil society and civic participation.

Thus, I enjoy doing community service projects and the diversity of people I meet while doing so. As Treasurer for the GSO, I assure that funds are adequately used towards creating educational workshops and fun socials for graduate students at Steinhardt. Being that I am also the GSO's Newsletter Editor, a goal of mine is to continuously inform students of the personal and professional opportunities available to them on and off campus through our biweekly newsletter. Feel free to contact me with your questions or suggestions, or chat with me at one of our events!

Hi everyone! I am a second-year graduate student pursuing my Masters in Occupational Therapy. Being actively involved in numerous student clubs and community service projects during undergrad made it easy for me to jump right in and become a GSO Department Representative during my first year at NYU. Town hall meetings quickly revealed the importance of having an organization with representatives like GSO to voice the desires, concerns, needs, and praises of students. As the Publicity Chair, I am dedicated to making sure that you have all the up-to-date information you need regarding how GSO can help you succeed academically and to enjoy life as a part of the Steinhardt community!

Greetings Steinhardt community! I recently moved to New York from San Diego to begin a program in Education Leadership, Politics, & Advocacy and am thoroughly enjoying my transition thus far. Aside from planning to enroll in some captivating courses here over the next couple of years, I’m also eager to get connected to several communities throughout New York and beyond, which is partially why I’ve committed to the GSO, NYU Alternative Breaks, America Reads, Graduate Leadership Council, and Urban Assembly. It’s also my goal to try as many vegetarian options around New York while I’m here. I hope to see you at some of our events this year!
