2011 Doctoral Convocation

In May, the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development faculty hooded 103 new doctoral degree graduates at the Doctoral Convocation, held in NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. The program included remarks by Acting Dean Beth Weitzman, NYU Senior Vice Provost Ron Robin, Professor Carola E. Suarez-Orozco, Distinguished Alumni Achievement Angela Jaggar, Ph.D ‘71, and Doctoral graduate Rachelle Susman Rumph. More than 800 relatives, friends, and colleagues joined the graduates for the ceremony and reception.
