Graduate Student Housing
On-Campus Housing
Under the auspices of New York University's Division of Campus Services, the Department of Housing is responsible for the overall administration and operation of NYU's 23 residence halls, home to over 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Unfortunately, on-campus housing at NYU is limited and there are never enough spaces to meet the complete needs of graduate students.
NYU Steinhardt candidates desiring university housing should check "Yes" to the housing question on their graduate admissions application. Candidates who have submitted their tuition deposit will receive additional information and instructions sometime in April for the summer and fall semester or early November for the spring semester. All communication will be sent via email to your NYU email account so be sure to activiate your NetID and NYU email account once you have been accepted. For additional information and instructions go to http://www.nyu.edu/its/netid/.
Graduate Admissions serves as the liaison office to NYU Housing so general questions about the process may be directed to us. To learn more about the residence hall facilities available to graduate students please visit www.nyu.edu/housing/residence.halls or contact:
