NYU Steinhardt - Program Changes
Academic reviews and new opportunities to strengthen programs are currently being explored by the faculty in a handful of programs. We will, therefore, not be reviewing applications in 2012 for the following programs:
- Art in Media - MA (ARSM) - prospective applicants should consider our M.F.A. in Studio Art (ARSA) or our M.A. in Studio Art: Summer Program (ARST)
- Arts & Humanities Education - MA and PhD (AHUM) -- prospective applicants should consider ouf M.A. in Art Education program
- Professional Certification Program in Childhood Education (CHEP)
- Dance Education - PhD and EdD (DADE)
- Educational Psychology (PSYE) - prospective applicants should consider the M.A. in Human Development & Social Intervention (HDSI)
- Foreign Language Education in the following languages: German, Latin, Russian, Hebrew as well as dual certification programs linked to those four languages.
- Mathematics Education - PhD (MAEC) - prospective applicants should consider the PhD in Teaching & Learning (TLPD)
- Philosophy of Education - MA and PhD (PHED)
- School Psychology - PhD (SCPT) and Advanced Certificate (PSSP)
- Visual Culture and Education - MA (ARTH) and PhD (AVCE) -- prospective applicants should consider the MA in Media, Culture, and Communication (MDCC) or the PhD in Media, Culture, and Communication (MCCD)
- Teaching and Learning - EdD (TLED) - prospective applicants should consider our PhD in Teaching and Learning.
