Application Deadlines

Most programs have very firm deadlines so it is always advisable to apply early. All deadlines are "in-office" deadlines, not postmark deadlines and it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all materials are in the Office of Graduate Admissions by the appropriate deadline. The Office of Graduate Admissions reserves the right to return any application that arrives after the deadline. Should any deadline fall on a weekend, the in-office deadline will be the next business day.

Doctoral Programs

  • D.P.T.- entry level program PTPS (summer only) --- December 1 --- must apply through PTCAS: www.ptcas.org
  • PhD and EdD programs (fall only) --- December 15
  • D.P.S. in Occupational Therapy --- March 15 for the fall or November 1 for the spring

Master's and Advanced Certificate Programs

  • Summer/Fall --- February 1
  • Spring --- November 1
Department of Music & Performing Arts Professions
Except for the programs noted below, all summer/fall Master's & Advanced Certificate applicants should apply no later than January 6. Spring applicants follow the school-wide deadline of November 1.

February 1 - Program EDTC
Jazz Studies
Pre-screeng video recording due by December 1.  Application deadline is January 6.  Read more about audition requirements and procedures.

Music Business (MUBG)
January 6 - Early Decision option

    • Full-time applicants may apply for the fall only by January 6
    • Part-time applicants may apply for the fall or spring by the school-wide deadlines noted above
  • Ad.Crt.-Physical Therapy (PTHO) --- January 15
  • M.A.-Studio Art (ARST) (summer only) --- March 1
  • Joint M.A.-Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLTF) (fall only) --- April 15
