When will I need to buy books or course packets for January Intersesssion graduate courses?

You will receive a syllabus at the orientation session and will need to buy any necessary texts before you leave. Some professors will use course packets, some will use textbooks. The professors suggest that you read as much as possible before arriving to prepare for and enjoy the experience, and some will give out pre-class assignments.
