FAQ

What is the Dean's Research Travel Colloquia?

Steinhardt offers academically qualified undergraduates the opportunity to study and learn abroad during January Intersession and Spring Break through the Dean’s Research Travel Colloquia.  These colloquia are led by Steinhardt faculty and focus on an academic theme or topic chosen by the faculty leader.  Students meet for 6 weeks prior to travel, complete a research project related to the topic and destination, and present their findings following their return to campus.  Participation in the Dean’s Research Travel Colloquia require special application in March or April each year.  Please inquire at the Office of Counseling and Student Services, Pless Hall, Second Floor, 998-5025.
