FAQ

What is the Applied Psychology Undergraduate Program?

The Applied Psychology Undergraduate Program is a four-year program in NYU's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development which leads to a Bachelor of Science degree. This program seeks to provide students with a firm grounding in psychological theory and research skills, as well as with practical, hands-on experience at a variety of field site placements, including schools, hospitals, and community agencies. Beginning the spring of their junior year, students volunteer at a field site for a minimum of 6-8 hours a week.
