Can I take classes part-time?
You may elect to take your classes part-time. All required coursework is offered in the form of evening classes. Most classes begin at or after 4:55pm. There are daytime options as well, but you aren't required to take daytime courses. It is very important to note, however, that the internship sequence taken in the final year of study requires 300 hours/semester (3 full weekdays in the field) for Counseling for Mental Health & Wellness students and 200 hours/semester (2 full weekdays in the field) for School Counseling students. This requirement can make it very difficult to manage a full-time (or even part-time) position outside of your graduate work.
