Physical Therapy, Assistant/Associate Professor, Tenure-Track
New York University, a pioneer in physical therapist education, offers physical therapist professional education at the doctoral level. Our internationally recognized post-professional master's degree and post-professional PhD programs, and a DPT program for practicing physical therapists (transitional DPT), are also part of the Department's offerings. We are currently seeking a faculty member to teach in these professional programs.
Responsibilities
Teaching master and doctoral students; advising and mentoring students, and supervising doctoral dissertations; direct graduate students research; seek external funding; and conduct a program of research and oversee a research team.
Qualifications
Physical therapist preferred; earned doctorate at the time of appointment; experience in teaching and clinical practice in the areas of anatomy, kinesiology, and motor learning, or cardiovascular pulmonary physical therapy; potential for publication and research and external funding; eligible for licensure in New York State.
