David Darts
David Darts is Assistant Professor of Art and Art Education and Associate Director of the NYU Steinhardt MA in Studio Art Program in Venice, Italy. His research and writings about contemporary art, public pedagogy, digital media and creative citizenship have been published in a number of top scholarly journals and books. Darts is Curatorial Director of Conflux, the annual art and technology festival for the creative exploration of urban public space, and Past Chair of the Arts Based Educational Research Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association. He teaches courses on media literacy, art education, and theory and research in contemporary art.
