Professor Larson's interests are rooted in the philosophy of social science, the methodologies of interpretive inquiry, and the sociopolitical theories of equity underpinning social and institutional reform in industrialized and developing nations. Her teaching unites her interests in examining equity policy through organizational ethnography and case study research. Dr. Larson teaches courses in the politics of multiculturalism and is also a member of the Interdepartmental Research Studies Faculty in Humanities and Social Science, teaching courses in interpretive inquiry methodology. With Professor Teboho Moja, Dr. Larson serves as Co- Director and research faculty for the NYU study abroad program in South Africa, focusing on issues of institutional equity and access in post-Apartheid S. Africa.
