Gina Canterucci is the primary academic advisor for undergraduate students in the Department of Speech Language Pathology & Audiology and provides clinical supervision for graduate students in the NYU Speech & Hearing Clinic. She holds certification by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association in Speech Pathology and is licensed as a Speech Pathologist in New York state. She received her B.S. in Hearing & Speech Science from Ohio University and her M.A. in Speech Pathology from Case Western Reserve University. Academic areas of interest include: adult language disorders, communication disorders in the geriatric population, and foreign and regional accent reduction. Areas of clinical focus have included adult neurogenic communication disorders, laryngectomy rehabilitation, dysphagia, and augmentative communication.
