  • Description: Evaluation is a process that systemically assesses the operations and outcomes of a program or policy in an effort to respond to a series of questions based on the need to improve or understand the effectiveness of that program or policy. This course provides guidance for conducting an evaluation and covers issues relevant to stages of planning, research design, data collection and analysis, and report writing. The variety of ways for judging the merits of a program or policy, including cost-benefit and cost effectiveness analysis, are discussed.
