• Description: Covering explanations of technical aspects of making surfacing, glazing, & firing ceramic forms will provide opportunities for understanding & developing sensitivities to clay as an art form. Students explore spatial issues & problem solving by learning how form, context, history, drawing, sculpture, & process play a role in defining individual work. Demonstrations, slide lectures, class critiques, museum, & gallery assignments will generate & nurture personal expression. This course is a continuation of E90.0508.
