Religiosity and Spirituality: Theory. Research and Counseling Towards Wellness
Students will explore the ways that clients? & practitioners? religious/spiritual beliefs (& critical attention to religiosity/spirituality in the therapy relationship) inform various aspects of the counseling enterprise. Through case studies students will explore concrete strategies for exploring issues of religiosity/spirituality therapy. This course offers an overview of various faith systems with a particular focus on what these systems reveal about self, mind, suffering, change, health, & ideal states of being.
