Topics covered include signal & system representation, time & frequency domains, phase vocoding, & filter theory & implementation. Lectures, covering concepts important to the implementation of DSP, are reinforced with assignments utilizing MATLAB to digitally manipulate sound files. A background in mathematics & computer programming is recommended, but not required.
