This course will provide an overview of theories, methods, and research findings in the area of cognitive development with focus on group change and individual differences in various domains including, language, memory, social cognition, and intelligence. A large focus of the course is on learning and development in social contexts, with attention to the role of family and culture in everyday experiences and children’s cognitive development.
