Wallerstein Collaborative For Urban Environmental Education
The Wallerstein Collaborative For Urban Environmental Education was established in the Fall of 2000 within the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University. The goal of the Collaborative is to provide a year-round program which stimulates public school teachers in the metropolitan New York City region to incorporate environmental education in their classrooms. The Collaborative also provides increased environmental education opportunities for pre-service teachers through direct experience in the urban environment.
