The Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy
The therapeutic uses of music gained international recognition in the late 1950's as a result of the work of Dr. Paul Nordoff, a highly trained composer-pianist, and Dr. Clive Robbins, a special educator. The Center provides clinical music therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults with special needs, offers advanced training to music therapists, conducts research, and disseminates information to professional audiences and the general public.
