Future CCTOP Students

CCTOP Visit Days

We think it's very important that you come and see the campus you're thinking of attending. While the Office of Undergraduate Admissions has regular tours and information sessions, we wanted to include an opportunity for students who have questions specifically about CCTOP and transferring from community colleges. CCTOP is now available in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development; the Silver School of Social Work; and the NYU School of Professional Studies-McGhee Division (SPS). Visit days focus primarily on these NYU schools and their academic programs and admissions processes, but all are welcome.

Fall 2014

Wednesday, October 8- EVENING*

Friday, October 24 -DAY

Friday, November 7 - DAY*

Friday, November 21- DAY

All tours will start at the Jeffery S. Gould Welcome Center (50 West 4th Street) and last an hour, followed by refreshments and an information session, ending by 2 p.m. for the daytime sessions and by 8 p.m. for the evening sessions. Students interested in any of the divisions are welcome at all of the visit day sessions, and there will be representatives from both the Steinhardt/Silver CCTOP and SPS-McGhee at all sessions, but evening sessions will focus on the SPS programs and admissions/financial aid, while the day programs will focus on the Steinhardt and Silver programs and procedures. We're offering two different kinds of visit day sessions. Friday sessions will be hosted by NYU Steinhardt and the tour will begin at 11:00 a.m. (please plan to arrive by 10:45 a.m.). Sessions marked with an asterisk (*) will be hosted by SPS. All-day tours through SPS will also begin at 11:00 a.m. (please plan to arrive by 10:45 a.m.). The evening tour with SPS will begin at 5 p.m.* (please arrive by 4:45 p.m.)

*For those not interested in the tour or unable to make it by 5 p.m., the Evening CCTOP Visit Day Information Session will take place at the School of Professional Studies, 7 East 12th Street, Room 321, beginning at 6 p.m..
