Future CCTOP Students

Pre-Admission Advising

Planning is the key to a successful transfer. We'd like to help!

Once you know which Steinhardt program you're interested in, let's get the ball rolling. Send us your unofficial transcripts, by fax, mail or email, from every place that you have college credits, and we'll evaluate your credits for your program, specifically. We'll let you know where you stand, and we'll make suggestions for classes that you can take at your partner community college that will transfer towards your program. It's important that we have all of the transcripts, so that we can be accurate in our evaluation.  Unfortunately, we're not able to provide specific evaluations for programs in other schools or divisions of the University, only those eligible for the CCTOP program in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.  For most programs at NYU, following a liberal arts course of study at your community college will allow for the most transfer credits, but specific requirements may apply

Please allow four-six weeks for evaluation time, but we'll be in touch as soon as possible!

Steinhardt is partnered with two other divisions of NYU through the CCTOP program, including the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies- Paul McGhee Division.   SCPS-McGhee is structured for non-traditional students and offers different programs; please visit their website for information on credit evaluation and advisement.
