NYU is definitely an investment. Our goal is to help put that investment within reach. Scholarships will meet 50% of financial need for qualified students, so for full-need students, that could be more than $30,000 in scholarship, before any other aid is applied. Additional awards are available for members of Phi Theta Kappa, all of which is in addition to federal and state aid that you can qualify for.
Additionally, we're able to help you focus your credits before you even get here. Program-specific, pre-admission advisingis available, and NYU Steinhardt can accept up to 72 credits in transfer, including several transfer agreements to ease the process. All of this can make your path smoother, and more cost-effective.
We know it's a complicated process, and we're here to help. Explore the website, contact us directly, or register for a CCTOP Visit Day, and we'll do everything we can to answer your questions.
It's important to note that CCTOP is a specific program, and is not the only way to transfer into NYU. If you're not eligible for the program, but have questions regarding transfer, please feel free to contact us or contact Undergraduate Admissions for information that's specific to you.
