Apply for Graduate Admission
Degree candidates must submit an online application. Non-degree candidates must submit a paper application (see below for further instructions).
Before creating an online account, candidates are strongly advised to review the detailed instructions (including deadline information) in our Graduate Application Guide. All materials must be received, not postmarked, by the appropriate deadline.
Non-Matriculated (Special/Non-Degree) Application
U.S. citizens or permanent residents not seeking a graduate degree may be considered for non-matriculated student status. Non-matriculated applicants enroll in graduate-level courses in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and must meet academic standards. Applicants will be considered based on a review of a completed Non-Matriculated Application and an undergraduate transcript indicating degree conferral.
