Global Summer and Intersession Programs Available to Professionals and Alumni
Have you ever wanted to study drama in Ireland, community health in South Africa, or art in Italy? Now you can. Opportunities abound through the Steinhardt Office of Academic Initiatives and Global Programs, which offers thirty short-term study abroad programs each year in a variety of academic fields. Enrollment is open to professionals who have completed a bachelor's degree and have related work experience. Special non-credit rates are available.

Spotlight on Global Media Scholars Program
The Department of Media, Culture, and Communication's new Global Media Scholars Program immerses students in the study of media and globalization through NYU's academic sites abroad. Innovative and diverse, this two-semester program allows students to spend nearly a year abroad, choosing two out of four incredible locations: Paris, Prague, Buenos Aires, or Shanghai. Structuring the program in this pioneering way allows students to compare and analyze the highly dynamic range of activities associated with the globalization of media and cultural production, distribution, and reception.
