Larry Birnbach and Beverly Hyman have co-authored a new book, How to Know if it's Time to Go: A 10-Step Reality Test for Your Marriage.  The book serves as a guide to finding a happy long-term solutions to better your partnerships and determine what your relationship needs.  Birnbach and Hyman, a husband-wife team, acknowledge that guilt and fear abound when individuals who are faced with the difficult decision to get a divorce wrestle with the question for years. Are the hard times a phase or a sign of a bigger problem? How to Know if it's Time to Go is the first book to guide those wrestling with this decision by providing a ten step program to determine if a relationship has truly reached its breaking point.

Michael Connors, PhD '95, Arts and Humanities Studies

 
Michael Connors has used his Steinhardt degree in creative and exciting ways.  With over thirty years of experience in decorative arts, he has been an active writer, designer, consultant, and teacher in an aesthetic and cultural world.  Michael sat down with Steinhardt to talk about his experiences and his latest book, Caribbean Houses, a lavishly illustrated account of the development of historically significant houses in the West Indies.

When Kenneth Jedding graduated from college in 1995, he sought in vain for a book offering guidance on next steps in his career, adjusting to living home again, navigating relationships, and above all, finding his passion.  With no such book in sight, Kenneth decided to write it himself.  Learn more about the final outcome, Higher Education: On Life, Landing a Job, and Everything Else They Didn't Teach you in College, in an essay by the author.
