Graduate Assistants

Annie Bezbatchenko

Annie Bezbatchenko is a Ph.D. student in the Higher and Postsecondary Education program at NYU and also serves as a Graduate Assistant for the Higher Education program, coordinating the M.A., Ed.D., and Ph.D. Admissions process. Prior to becoming a full-time student, Annie worked with prospective students at Drexel University, current students at the University of Pennsylvania, and alumni at the University of Cincinnati. Annie obtained her B.A. at the University of Richmond in Leadership Studies and her M.S. at the University of Pennsylvania in Higher Education Management. Her current research focuses on sustainability in higher education.

Micahel Fried

Michael Fried is pursuing a PhD in higher and post-secondary education at New York University.  He comes to NYU with a BA in English and Religion from Emory University and an MSEd in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania.  In addition to his doctoral work, Michael serves as the graduate assist for the Steinhardt Institute for Higher Education Policy.  His current research focus is on human resource issues in higher education.
