Dr. Behringer serves as the Coordinator of the M.A. Program in Higher Education and Student Affairs.  In addition to teaching, she engages in research that investigates state, system, and institutional policies related to developmental and remedial education in colleges and universities throughout the U.S.  Dr. Behringer is also interested in exploring innovative qualitative methodologies, and currently pursues this interest by researching the ways in which undergraduate students articulate their spiritual development and experiences; this scholarship is a collaborative effort involving faculty and current M.A. and Ph.D. students in the Higher and Postsecondary Education program.
