New York University is the "home" of Delta Pi Epsilon, the graduate honorary society in Business Education. Over 100 active chapters exist nation-wide. NYU's Alpha Chapter serves the profession and NYU through service and professional development projects. As an NYU alumni group, it also serves as a means of continuing the vital network the colleagues and friends that one developes while pursuing graduate work.

The ideals of the Society as symbolized in the name of the organization are Scholarship (Delta--the search for accurate knowledge), Leadership (Pi--true leadership), and Cooperation (Epsilon--unity of purpose and effort).

The organization strives for the ideals by seeking the following objectives:

• To improve business education through research
• To encourage research
• To recognize exceptional research achievement
• To publicize research in Business Education.
