Extension of Matriculation
Master's students have a maximum of six years from the date of initial matriculation within which to complete the degree. The form to request an extension should be filed with the Office of Graduate Studies and should include a statement of remaining degree requirements and a timetable for the completion of those requirements. The student must also indicate the reason for his or her inability to complete the requirements within the matriculation period. All requests for extension of matriculation must be signed by the program advisor.
