Jacqueline McPhillips oversees the Community College Transfer Opportunity Program. CCTOP is a Steinhardt program that works with local partnership community colleges to help students successfully transfer into the School. The program works extensively with these schools to recruit and advise students before and during the application process, to evaluate transfer credits and award scholarships to eligible students, and to serve as a transitional support structure for students once transferred to Steinhardt.

Prior to joining NYU, Jacqueline worked with community college partnerships at Excelsior College. In this role, she built seamless transfer pathways for students at community colleges to maximize their transfer credit at the four year level. Prior to that, Jacqueline worked in the K-12 setting, primarily with ESL students. Jacqueline earned her bachelor’s degree at SUNY College at Oneonta. Passionate about furthering the goals of non-traditional students, Jacqueline earned her MS Ed at Hofstra University.
